Sell your vans when closing a business: FAQs
Who has to sign the paperwork?
Whoever is named on the V5C as keeper, normally the company. Have a director or authorised person available on the day.
Can you take the racking and tools?
Fitted racking and lining can stay on the van. Please remove loose tools and stock.
Do you buy vans that have been off the road?
Yes. Untaxed and SORN vans are collected on a truck at no charge.
Is VAT a factor?
Tell us if the vans are VAT-qualifying so the offer and invoice are set up correctly.
